Three ConVal runners took the track at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston Saturday for the New England Championships.

Senior William Simard, the Division II state champion in the 3,000-meter run, finished in sixth place in the two-mile run at the New England meet with a time of 9:15.75. Junior Ross Stephens, the Division II state champion in the 300 meters, injured his hamstring early in his race, but completed the run in spite of the pain.

Senior Kendrick Edwards competed in the 55-meter dash in 6.68 seconds, just a fraction of a second off his personal best.

Simard and Stephens are scheduled to compete again at New Balance Nationals in mid-March.

Mascenic’s Kaitlin O'Shea competed in the 1,000 meters, finshing 18th with a personal-best time of 3:06.97. The time also broke her own school record.
